Dear Mr. Czachor:

The children at Webster School are totally intrigued with the piano action model which you recently donated to the district. The very intricacy of the workings are fascinating to the students and they now look at a piano keyboard with new insight.

I want you to know that this model will be shared with hundreds of children throughout the city as we music teachers share it around the district. Who knows, it may even result in a few piano sales in future years by children who were once introduced to the science of this instrument through this model.

Only three weeks ago, my student teacher and I wandered into the store to price ukuleles and this week I call Barry to place the order for a Baby Grand. Unbelievable! As a music teacher, this is a dream come true. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this dream a reality. Not only will I be enjoying it, but so will granddaughter Maddie one day. Having her to pass it on to in future years was a big factor in making the decision to purchase it. Now.... let's pray that she is musical!

When I was about 10 years old, I begged my dad for a piano. He could only spend $25.00 back then in the '50's, but found an old upright for $35.00 in Gillett. His profession was as a banker, and I like to think that the piano was his very best investment. That initial $25.00 investment produced quite a return, didn't it? Using my musical skills, I was able to support my family after my first husband died in 1976.

I know Dad would be pleased to know that I "upgraded" to this gorgeous instrument. Thank you for making this possible.
